Ford Focus WTCC Limited Edition Announced. Paying homage to their World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) race car, Ford announced a limited WTCC edition of the Focus Zetec S, same car used by Team Arena, for the road. The car comes with race-inspired stripes and graphics on the outside, and a tweaked 1.6 liter engine under the bonnet.
The 1.6 liter EcoBoost engine from the donor Zetec S has been tuned by Arena’s performance partner Mountune to make 202 PS and 320Nm torque. It is also fitted with a Stainless Steel Powerflow CAT back rear silencer and tail pipe, and delivers the power via a short shift 6-speed manual gearbox.
Other WTCC-derived features include the carbon fiber center console and 18-inch wheels shod with 235/40/ZR18 Yokohama Advan Sport tires.
There are some other bits and bobs you might be interested in, such as WTCC branded floor mats and boot liner, key fob, and tax disc holder. The car is not limited to one market or two. It will be sold globally and retains Ford’s warranty. Ford Focus WTCC Limited Edition Announced.
